Workshop to help you find the 'why' behind your business

"WHAT are we here for?”

"Why do we do what we do?”

These are the questions which are on Central Burnett Landcare secretary Ruth Vicary's mind.

"Sometimes we can get in a rut with what we do, because that's the way we have always done things,” Mrs Vicary said.

"We've got to nut out what we want in the end.

"It's about visions and goals, knowing how to get there and enjoying what you're doing.”

Mrs Vicary has helped apply these ideas at Landcare, and now it's time to spread the word.

Next Tuesday, Landcare is hosting a Business Futures Workshop in Mundubbera, presented by Andrew Zerner from Resource Consulting Services.

The workshop aims to help individuals, organisations and businesses to gain clarity and direction in their lives, both personally and professionally, because once you know where your destination is, it is far easier as a manager or individual to plan out the journey.

Mrs Vicary said numbers were looking good for the workshop, but there were still places available.

The Business Futures Workshop will be held at the North Burnett Community Service Centre in Mundubbera next Tuesday from 8am-5pm.

Tickets, which would ordinarily cost $335 per business/organisation, cost $80 for Landcare members or $100 for non-members.
