A CHERBOURG woman has been transported to hospital after having her head slashed with a piece of hard plastic.

UPDATE 11.58 AM:
A woman has been transported to Cherbourg Hospital following a domestic violence incident on a Cherbourg street this morning.
At 9.15am this morning, police were called to a reported 'stabbing' on Broadway street, where a woman was allegedly attacked with a piece of hard plastic.
According a QPS spokesman, she was slashed in the head with the hard material, before being transported to hospital with minor wounds.
Both parties involved were known to each other.
EARLIER 9.45 AM:
A WOMAN has been transporter to hospital after a reported stabbing at Cherbourg this morning.
According to a Queensland Police Service (QPS) spokesman, officers have been advised she has injuries to the back of the neck, however her condition is currently unknown.
Police are setting up a crime scene on Broadway Street.
