A pilot has been taken to hospital after his aircraft crashed on a private property on the Western Downs.
The man was piloting a helicopter at Auburn, north of Chinchilla, when the aircraft crashed just before 1pm Monday.
It’s understood the man, aged in his 40s, was mustering cattle on the Auburn Rd property when the incident occurred.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, but the pilot escaped the wreckage with minor injuries.
He was transported to Chinchilla Hospital in a stable condition with neck pain and a chest injury.
Police remain on scene.
