Mount Perry Show Society secretary Trinette Murphy said preparations were rolling along well, with dozens of inquiries into stall holding and events.
“There’s been full-on preparation for a few weeks now, getting the grounds ready along with behind-the-scenes work,” Ms Murphy said.
“We’ve had good stall response this year, and a great number of nominations to a number of events.”
She credited the help of community volunteers coming forward to help bring the event together.
Mount Perry’s 2023 Showgirl Casey Cleary will also be seen on the grounds handing out ribbons and acting as a friendly faced guide to visitors.
Miss Cleary is new to the Showgirl role, but has spent years working with the show society alongside her family to offer the very best show for her region.
There will be a range of attractions from heart-stopping side show rides to impressive feats of strength in the woodchopping display.
While there won’t be any showjumping in the main ring this year, campdrafting, hack classes and sporting events will keep riders and guests busy.
Working dog trials will also exhibit the quiet work done by some of the country’s most dedicated four pawed workers with more than 60 entrants already listed.
A range of competitions in the pavilion will promote the very best of baking, artwork, knitting, photography and botany from across the region.
Live music will entertain evening show attendees from roughly 5pm.
Evening fireworks will wrap up the event at 7:45pm with the light show set to delight guests young and old.
