Teens with spinal injuries taken to hospital after Bundaberg South crash

Two teenage girls were taken to hospital overnight with spinal injuries following a two vehicle crash in Bundaberg South.

Two teenage girls were taken to hospital overnight after sustaining spinal injuries in a crash in Bundaberg South.

Emergency services were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash at roughly 8:30pm on Tuesday, April 30.

The crash, which occurred on the corner of Barolin Street and Walker Street, was reportedly between two cars.

While according to Queensland Police the travellers in one car were treated for shock and not required to be taken to hospital, the two teenage travellers in the second car were both taken to Bundaberg Hospital.

It is believed they are in a stable condition, being assessed for spinal injuries.
