RACQ LifeFlight responds to injured man near Bundaberg
An elderly man had to be winched to safety after his property west of Bundaberg was cut off by flood waters. Watch the video.

An elderly man was taken to hospital following a rescue near Bundaberg on Thursday.
The man’s wife called 000 after she found him on the floor of his backyard shed after he had fallen.
Emergency services were unable to reach the property by road after a heavy downpour caused flooding around the property.
Instead, RACQ LifeFlight Rescue went to the man’s rescue just after 6:30am.
An aircrew officer and QAS flight paramedic were lowered to the ground to treat the man, put him on a stretcher and hoist him into the chopper.
He was taken to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.
