Queensland Ambulance Service treats burns in Bundaberg

It was a busy Saturday night for paramedics in Bundaberg with two unrelated incidents fire accidents. One person is in a serious condition.

Paramedics treated two people for burns on Saturday night across the region.

In the first incident, a man in his late teens was camping at Deepwater when a camp cooker caught fire at 6.21pm.

The man, who had been camping off Wreck Rd, suffered superficial burns to his face and was taken to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.

Less than an hour later - at 7pm - a man in his 30s suffered burns to his face and limbs after accelerant was used on a bonfire at a private home in Branyan.

He was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
