Bundaberg foodies and whiskey connoisseurs could get a taste of rooftop dining if a proposed new Services Club clubhouse is approved.
A development application has been lodged with Bundaberg Regional Council for a three-storey hospitality venue to be open seven days a week at 33 Bourbong St.
Six stores would be demolished to make way for the new building, if approved.

Craven Town Planning lodged documents on behalf of Bundaberg and District RSL and Citizens Memorial Club, which showed the development would include alfresco dining, a main bar, a whiskey bar, roof deck and function room.
The exterior will boast a modern cream concrete facade, complemented with natural overflowing greenery and bronze metal work.

The 2493 sqm site has more than 50m of frontage along Bourbong St.
The ground level plans include a main entry lobby along with the two driveways, with level one to feature an entry foyer, gaming lounge, bistro, kitchen and dining as well as a kids room.
The second level will house the function room with its own kitchen, as well as the whiskey bar and a rooftop deck.
The application states the Services Club would be open from 9am to midnight for general service and until 2am for gaming, seven days a week.
There will also be 42 underground car parks.
The Bundaberg and District RSL and Citizens Memorial Club would be developed in two stages; demolition and construction.
The proposed development is subject to council approval.
The proposal is separate to the Bundaberg Services Club at Quay St which no longer operates under the Returned Services League.
