Police are urging members of the community and businesses to be vigilant when handling cash after recent reports of counterfeit banknotes throughout Bundaberg.
Many of the counterfeit notes are $100 bills containing this text: “THIS IS NOT LEGAL TENDER. ITS (sic) USED FOR MOTION PROP. PRANK USE ONLY.”
