A Bundaberg cleaning service has been forced into liquidation after the Australian Taxation Office asked the Federal Court to pull the plug over a six-figure debt.

Wide Bay Cleaning Service Pty Ltd was wound up by the court on July 9 following an application by Deputy Commissioner of Taxation Julian Roberts in May, 2025.

An affidavit submitted to the court alongside the application said as of February 21, 2025, the company owed a total of $157,440.20 to the tax office.

The court was told the company had not made any application to set aside the demand for payment, and the debt had not been paid.

ASIC records show Patrick Thomas Egan was the director of the company at the time of its liquidation.

Worrells’s John Joseph Goggin was appointed liquidator of the company which has also traded under the names Quality Cleaning Solutions CQ and PMK Cleaning Services.

The company was ordered by the court to pay the tax office’s costs of $3740 for their application.

No liquidation documents have been lodged with ASIC at this time.
