A prominent Bundaberg builder and businessman has faced court on charges including the supply and possession of dangerous drugs.

A prominent Bargara property developer has faced charges of supplying dangerous drugs and unauthorised possession of explosives in a Bundaberg court.
Callum Leigh Aaron Dobson was mentioned in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Monday, August 14, for charges of supplying dangerous drugs, authority required to possess explosives, possessing property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence and two counts of possessing dangerous drugs.

Mr Dobson’s matter was adjourned to a mention hearing at Bundaberg Magistrates Court on September 1.
Mr Dobson is the director of Dobson Homes and Constructions, a company registered with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission since November 2018.
According to the Dobson Homes and Constructions Facebook page, the firm has built a range of properties including multiple homes on Bargara Headlands Estate, and has been contracted for renovations on commercial properties including Bundy Bowl & Leisure Complex and Rum City Foods.
Mr Dobson and his wife, ABC journalist Johanna Marie Dobson bought a 1019sq m lot on Bargara’s Esplanade in April 2022 for $1.1million.

Mr Dobson sold a four-bedroom house at Bargara for $1.4m in May 2022.
That address is still listed as the address for Dobson Homes and Constructions in ASIC documents.
