A Bundaberg man has been remanded in custody on a horrific list of charges that include multiple counts of bestiality, child abduction, distributing and making child exploitation material, committing indecent acts in public and indecent treatment of a child in his care.
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in a closed Bundaberg Magistrates Court via video link from custody on March 7, 2023.
He faced one count each of possessing a knife in a public place, abduction of a child under 16, carnal knowledge of a child under 16 and attempts (parent or guardian), indecent treatment of a child under 16 (taking photos, parent or guardian), distributing child exploitation material, entering a premises and committing an indictable offence, making child exploitation material and observing or recording someone in breach of privacy.
He also faces three charges of indecent treatment of a child under 16 (parent or guardian, permit) and one indecent treatment of a child (parent or guardian).
He has also been charged with four counts of beastiality, four counts of indecent treatment of a child under 16 (expose), (parent or guardian), three charges of wilful damage, six counts of a committing an indecent act in public, two breaches of duty of care by inappropriate handling and two breaches of a domestic violence order with aggravation.
He is due to appear in court again on May 2, 2023.
