With so many new and different toys on the market it can be hard for kids to choose what they’d like for their upcoming birthday or even Christmas.

But one Bundaberg family is lending a hand.

Kyjuan, Dai-Shaun, Zendaya and Mahiya Tanna are part of retail giant Big W’s Toy Squad for their annual Toy Mania sale.

The sale kicked off on Tuesday with an exclusive online-only event before hitting stores on Thursday.

The sale will feature more than 1,000 toys with up to 50 per cent off.

The Tanna kids’ mum Candice said they were “really excited” to be part of the Toy Squad.

“Our kids have a huge collection of toys at home and love to play, so it was definitely a dream to be the ‘Toy Testers’ for Big W,” she said.

“The boys loved the scooters. They were definitely a favourite, and they couldn’t get enough of racing each other and showing off. Mahiya and Zendaya particularly enjoyed jumping on the Bluey trampoline and playing on the Lil Monkey Dome Climber – it could keep them entertained for hours.

“We will certainly be adding some Huffy Inline Scooters and the Dome Climber to our Christmas lists this year – we love to get outdoors, so these are perfect for our backyard and will definitely keep ALL the kids entertained and moving.”

Big W recently released their annual Toy Mania report, a deep dive into this year’s toy trends.

The report revealed LEGO, Barbie, Hot Wheels, L.O.L Surprise! and Vtech are set to dominate the annual toy celebration.

It also said Bluey was the top selling brand for the past 12 months, up over 250% to last year.

LEGO has also been a top seller in every state for the past 12 months.

The report also found outdoor play sets such as cubby houses, bikes and scooters have seen big growth in the last year.

The Toy Squad will be sharing their top rated toys during ‘7 Days of Play’.
