Palm Lake, Churches of Christ and Blue Care facilities among those listed
As a September deadline on staff Covid vaccinations looms, the State Government has revealed the Bundaberg and Fraser Coast aged care facilities where fewer than half the staff have had the jab. FULL LIST HERE.
Bundaberg
Don't miss out on the headlines from Bundaberg. Followed categories will be added to My News.
Information released by the State Government has revealed Bundaberg and Fraser Coast’s overall aged care staff vaccination rate is 40-49 per cent, while in Burnett, it is 70-79 per cent.
For Fraser Coast, that number is 50-59 per cent in both Maryborough and Hervey Bay.
But the region’s numbers are not as shocking as the revelation that some aged care facilities across the state have fewer than 10 per cent of staff vaccinated.
There are fears that staff could face cuts if vaccinations are not carried out by the September 17 deadline for jabs.
Bundaberg and Fraser Coast region aged care staff vaccination rates are as follows, and are indicative of staff having had at least their first Covid jab:
