Norville car crash leaves five people injured

A woman was trapped in a truck after it rolled at Norville, causing a crash with another vehicle that was carrying four young men who all had to be taken to hospital. Read the details.

Police are investigating the cause of a crash at Norville which left five people injured overnight on Thursday night.

Emergency services attended the scene of a truck and vehicle crash in which the truck rolled near the intersection of Kensington Street and Mimnagh Street at 11:11pm on Thursday.

Five people were taken to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.

A woman in her early 20s was encapsulated in the truck and suffered neck, back and hip pain.

A man in his late teens suffered chest pain while a teenage male suffered chest, abdominal and neck pain and was taken to hospital with spinal precautions.

A man in his early 20s suffered neck and shoulder pain and another teenage male was taken to hospital with no obvious injuries.
