Motorcyclist, 37, killed in Kensington crash

A 37-year-old rider has died after crash at Bundaberg. It follows several horror motorbike crashes in the Wide Bay region recently. VIDEO, UPDATES.

Police confirm fatality following Avoca crash on Tuesday, February 13.

Police have confirmed a 37-year-old man has died after a crash in the Bundaberg region on Tuesday morning.

As of 9am emergency services remained at the scene of the crash between the motorcycle and vehicle at Kensington.

It comes after paramedics first attended the crash at the corner of Airport Drive and Childers Road at 5.12am.

The rider was initially assessed to be in a critical condition while a second male patient was in a stable condition.
Police have since confirmed the rider died at the scene.

The southbound lane at the intersection of Airport Drive and Takalvan Street is closed.

Motorists have been advised to avoid the area.

Diversions are in place via Johanna Boulevard for southbound traffic.

It follows a spate of serious motorcycle crashes in the Wide Bay region.
