A new subdivision could offer coastal living just a short distance from a tavern at Moore Park Beach if it gets the green light from Bundaberg Regional Council.
A reconfiguring lot application was recently lodged with the council by ACM Corporation Pty Ltd.
The subdivision will be located on Murdochs Rd and Moore Park Rd.
It will be near the Moore Park Beach Tavern and an IGA supermarket, and is proposed to feature 49 lots to be released in three stages.
Diagrams of the proposed development show the blocks of land would range in size from 167sq m to 550sq m.
The first stage will consist of Lots 20-35 with a new access from Moore Park Rd, with stage two consisting of lots 8-19 and then lots 36-41.
The final stage will then consist of lots 1 to 7 and lots 42 to 48 and will have an additional access from Murdochs Rd.
“Ultimately, the proposed residential proposal, will ensure a good choice of quality, affordable housing, promoting a compact urban form, maximising access to open space and recreation networks and ultimately ensuring a legible and permeable vehicular and pedestrian road network is achieved thus resulting in the creation of an integrated, convenient and attractive residential neighbourhood within that part of Moore Park Beach,” the proposal says.
