Easter traffic crashes at Colosseum and Deepwater

A woman has suffered abdominal pain after a crash with a kangaroo at Deepwater, just a day after a man was taken to hospital after an early morning truck rollover on the Bruce Highway near Miriam Vale.

A woman has been hospitalised after an early morning crash involving a kangaroo.

According to a statement from the Queensland Ambulance Service, the woman in her 50s hit the kangaroo with her vehicle on Capricornia Drive at 5.17am.

She was taken to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition with abdominal pain.

The crash follows another in the region which happened on Sunday morning when a truck crashed on the Bruce Highway.

According to a statement from the Queensland Ambulance Service, the incident happened at Colosseum near Miriam Vale at 3.12am.

The truck rolled in the incident.

A man was taken to Gladstone Hospital in a stable condition with head injuries and cuts.
