Lifeflight airlifts woman to hospital after snake bite at Miriam Vale
A woman was flown to hospital after she stopped at a driver reviver where she was bitten by a snake.

A woman’s efforts to take a break while driving led to a journey to hospital after a suspected snake bite to her right foot.
In a statement released by Lifeflight, it was revealed the Bundaberg-based rescue chopper flew the woman to hospital after the incident.

It's believed the woman was bitten while she was at a rest stop on the side of the highway, south of Miriam Vale.
The rescue aircraft was called to the scene shortly after 11am Sunday.
The pilot landed on the road and the aeromedical team joined local Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics in treating the woman.
The patient, aged in her 50s, was flown to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.
