Stilt walkers, drummers and dancers turned Childers’ main street into a magical carnival at the weekend as the town’s signature festival drew record crowds.

The small town of Childers transformed at the weekend into a magical tapestry of culture and colour.

Sunday marked the festival’s grand finale, and the usually sleepy town buzzed with energy and excitement.

Local talents poured their hearts into performances across multiple stages, while brightly costumed performers danced through the streets to the rhythmic beat of drums.

The atmosphere was electric as visitors discovered an abundance of rides, delicious food, and entertainment at every turn.
