Regional shows have long been a treasured part of the Bundaberg region social calendar, with families, competitors and tourists visiting their locals showgrounds for a day of fun and fancy.

The face of the show, the beloved Showgirl has always been the friendly guide to the in’s and out’s of local shows.

Gin Gin

In 2011 Alice Turnbull represented Gin Gin and the Central Queensland Sub-Chamber in the state finals of the Miss Showgirl competition at Brisbane's Exhibition.

At the 2017 Burnett Sub-Chamber judging at Teebar Mundubbera's Hannah Allan was runner up with winner Gin Gin's Sarah Christmass, who was sashed by Miss Showgirl 2016 Kristin Carroll of Mt Perry.
