Fire crews race to tractor that erupted in flames south of Gin Gin

An emergency response is underway south of Gin Gin where a burning tractor has sparked a dramatic early morning incident.

Emergency services have launched an urgent response after a tractor erupted in flames south of Gin Gin Monday morning.

Initial reports indicate the vehicle caught fire just before 9 o’clock this morning on a private property at Tirroran.

A spokesman for Queensland Fire Department said a tractor has become fully engulfed in flames on Plantation Rd, Tirroan, with multiple crews attending.

Fire crews arrived at the rural property as of 9.10 this morning.

Paramedics treated one patient for medical concerns.

A spokesman for Queensland Ambulance Services said the patient reported feeling unwell.

It is unclear whether the injuries are related to the fire or smoke inhalation, he said.
