Emergency services have been called to a car fire at Bundaberg following a crash on Saturday afternoon.
It’s understood a sedan carrying two young males and a female crashed into a tree on Boona Road at 3:30pm.
The three passengers were reported to be in their early 20s or younger and transported to the Bundaberg Hospital with neck pain and other minor injuries.
Police and fire services crews were also called to the scene, after the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle and drove off the road.
At first it was feared those in the car may have been trapped but all were out by the time help arrived.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson said a small fire in the engine compartment was extinguished on arrival.
They said the “incident probably involved excessive speed.”
The trio was in a stable condition on Saturday evening.
Investigations are continuing.
