PIZZA lovers, especially those in Bargara and Burnett Heads, can rejoice as Dominos opens its 600th store on Bargara Rd, Bundaberg.
Dominos CEO Don Meij said he was excited to open the doors along side franchisee Tom Walker - who now operates four stores across the Wide Bay, including Bundaberg.
He said the sister store in Bundaberg was know as the busiest store on the planet and often hit the number one store at State of Origin time.
Mr Meij said the store had the latest in technology and included electric bikes for fast delivery.
"We have the latest ovens so we have the ability here to deliver now in the closer regions with 10 - 12 minutes," he said.
"Carry out and pick-ups orders will be ready in four to fives minutes."
He said all the latest technology was now ready to be used in the new East Bundaberg store.
Mr Walker said the forth store would create another 30 - 40 new job opportunities in Bundaberg.
"We currently have more than 150 staff in the Wide Bay with two in Hervey Bay and this is the second for Bundaberg," Mr Walker said.
And the new store would mean places such as Bargara, The Hummock, and Burnett Heads would now have Domino's pizza home delivery service available.
