Archie wins Bundaberg’s Best Book Week outfit 2023

The hunt for the region’s choice for cutest Book Week 2023 costume has come to a close, with one adorable little monster receiving the most votes from the Bundaberg region.

After a week’s voting for the 70 nominations received for Bundy’s best Book Week outfit, a clear field of winners emerged with an amazing range of classic and contemporary costumes and characters.

First place goes to Archie with an impressive monster costume from the children’s classic Where the Wild Things Are, complete with a terrifying mask and set of claws.

Archie topped the field receiving 14 per cent of the total votes.

There was a three-way tie for second place including Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, Luca and Harlow dressed as Batman and Barbie, and in one of our youngest nominations 11-week old Macie wielding a wand as a very adorable Harry Potter.

These nominees all received seven per cent each of the total votes.

Tied for third place with six per cent of the total votes were a couple of Dr Seuss fans dressed as Thing 1 and Thing 2, and Xari dressed as Unie the Unicorn from Unicorn Adventures.
