Reef Day crowned Bundaberg’s Cutest Baby for 2023

A cheeky and bubbly baby boy has captured Bundaberg’s hearts with readers voting him as the cutest tiny tot of 2023. See the full results.

Following a tie-break-splitting extension to our competition, NewsMail is happy to announce Bundaberg’s Cutest Baby for 2023.

Voting was extended by one day to break the tie between Reef Day and Saint Koa Esse, and readers have now chosen a winner, with Reef claiming the title by just two votes.

Reef’s mother Coral Guest was overjoyed to learn Reef had won out of more than 80 tiny tots.

Reef’s mother Coral Guest, pictured with Reef's father, Seth Day, said it was "pretty crazy" to know Reef had been named Bundaberg's Cutest Baby for 2023.

“It’s really great to know he’s one of the cutest babies in Bundaberg, it’s pretty crazy,” Coral said.

Born in May, five-month-old Reef is “pretty bubbly” and can usually be found with a smile on his face, although Coral said he can also be “very cheeky”.

“When he knows that he did something wrong and you tell him, he’ll just laugh at you,” she said.

Reef loves playing in the water, and won’t be seen without his Riff The Fox sleep toy.

“He loves his little Riff,” Coral said.
