A QPS spokesperson said there was “nothing untoward” in relation to Mr Geary’s circumstances.
Earlier, on Thursday evening, April 27, police sought public assistance to locate a missing man last seen at Rosedale, north of Bundaberg.
The last known location for Colin Geary was a caravan park on Newtons Road, Rosedale in January.
Police believe that Mr Geary may have travelled west from Rosedale in a white Toyota Landcruiser with Queensland registration 058FQV.
Mr Geary was reported missing on March 25, and has not been located by police despite extensive inquiries.
While Mr Geary is known to lead a nomadic lifestyle, his family was concerned for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.
Investigators appealed for Colin, or anyone with information regarding his whereabouts, to contact police.
