A wave of people descended on Burnett Heads for another year of Bundaberg’s Oceanfest.
Scenic helicopter rides, live entertainment and an abundance of fresh seafood were just some of the things on offer for festivalgoers along the marina.
But if seafood didn’t float your boat, there were plenty of other food options to enjoy - from German cuisine to hot doughnuts and fairy floss.
Oceanfest was created by the Rotary Club of Bundaberg Sunrise members to raise money for a number of local charities.
In 2021, the Rotary Club of Bundaberg distributed $60,000 to 27 local beneficiaries after the event’s success.
The amount raised this year for these important causes was still being tallied on Saturday.
