Bundaberg South hit and run: Two pedestrians injured on Rankin Court

A late-night hit-and-run on a quiet Bundaberg street has left two pedestrians injured as police search for the driver who vanished into darkness.

Two people were injured after being hit by a car on a residential street in Bundaberg South.

Emergency services were called to Rankin Court at 9.47pm on Sunday, October 5, 2025 after reports a silver Nissan Navara struck two pedestrians.

A Queensland Police spokesman said the driver failed to remain at the site.

Paramedics arrived on scene and assessed three patients.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said only two of the three impacted by the vehicle were injured.

A male in his 40s, who suffered a leg injury, and a female in her 30s, who sustained injuries to her back and shoulder, were transported to Bundaberg Hospital in stable conditions.

Investigations are ongoing and police are appealing to anyone who has relevant vision or information to come forward.
