APPEARING on Channel Seven show Australia’s Got Talent has turned Bundaberg born and bred man Andrew Wong into a self-confessed “reality TV junkie”.

Although he did not make it through to the grand final, Mr Wong was invited back by the show’s organisers to make a cameo appearance on the program, won on Tuesday night by dance troupe Justice Crew.

But Mr Wong, whose parents own the Busy Bee takeaway in Targo Street, is determined to push ahead with his showbiz career.

On Saturday he will audition for Channel Seven’s The X Factor, when he will demonstrate his opera-singing skills.

Later this year, he has a part in an ABC TV World War II drama series Sisters of War, in which he will appear as “Japanese soldier No. 3”.

And he is still chasing that big acting break.
