A trapped truck driver has been rescued and a massive clean-up is underway after a B-double carting molasses rolled at Bundaberg South.
Emergency crews were called out to the intersection of Bundaberg Ring Rd and Goodwood Rd after the truck went off the road about 6.30am on Saturday.
The male driver in his 60s was trapped for more than an hour before being freed by fire crews just before 8am.
He was being assessed on scene and in a stable condition, a Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said.
Police are urging motorist to avoid the intersection as a turning lane has been closed off.
Around the same time - 6.30am on Saturday - on Waterview Rd in Bundaberg North, a man sustained abdominal and facial injuries after his motorcycle crashed.
He was transported in a stable condition to Bundaberg Hospital, QAS confirmed.
