Bruce Highway closed due to large amount of diesel across the road
The Bruce Highway has reopened this morning after it was closed north of Maryborough overnight when a car and truck crashed, causing a large amount of diesel to spill across the road.

THE Bruce Highway has reopened after it was closed in both directions when a truck and car crashed just north of Maryborough around 8.15pm.
The highway reopened about 6am today, with the Department of Transport and Main Roads urging motorists to proceed with caution.
The crash occurred near Aldershot, with a large amount of diesel spilling from the truck and covering the road.
One male patient has been taken to Hervey Bay Hospital.
The highway is expected to be closed for most of the night and police are setting up diversions via Maryborough.
