Brisbane’s tallest penthouse has hit the market with unparalleled views of the city and access to state-of-the-art amenities.
8803/222 Margaret Street is a three-bedroom penthouse in the Brisbane Sky Tower spread across 254 sqm and is currently owned by a family.
Priced around the $3m to $3.25 million mark, the penthouse features an open-plan living and dining area, adjoining kitchen, master bedroom with ensuite and two bedrooms also with ensuite.
Place Real Estate’s agent Michael Bacon said while there’s four apartments on the same level, the penthouse had a pretty amazing view and probably one of the best bathroom views in Brisbane.
“Especially looking out the bathroom in the master ensuite, you’re looking straight out to all the river,” Mr Bacon said.
“You’ll be able to see the ferris wheel on your left hand side as well as towards Southbank and … to your right all the way back to the city. So it’s pretty amazing.”
From levels 82 upwards, penthouse residents have access to the world’s highest pool on level 90 as well as a gym and separate living area, which is only shared with another 30 residents.
A rare addition to this penthouse is side-by-side, secure parking for three cars with three private cages for storage.
While the kitchen and bathrooms are fitted out, the living area and bedrooms have been left unfinished to be customised by the next owner.
Mr Bacon said the penthouse essentially required flooring, cabinetry for wardrobes, painting and curtains.
“It gives people the option to do what they want,” Mr Bacon said.
Mr Bacon said they had received inquiries from people wanting to downsize as well as people regionally in the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast looking for a Brisbane base.
“There are a lot of those buyers out there at the moment [and] maybe a couple of them from down south that we‘re getting inquiries from,” Mr Bacon said.
Billbergia, the development team behind Brisbane Sky Tower, has brought their 25 years of experience to this penthouse sitting 270 metres above ground.
