Brisbane traffic: Major congestion on Inner City Bypass after traffic lights fail
Traffic on Brisbane’s Inner City Bypass and another major route into the city is easing slowly after a traffic light failure caused delays stretching a total of 13 kilometres.

Commuters on Brisbane’s Inner City Bypass and Coronation Drive continue to face significant delays after a traffic light failure, as conditions slowly start to ease.
The signal issue at Hale Street and Coronation Drive occurred shortly before 8am and caused traffic to be backed up more than six kilometres along the Inner City Bypass all the way to Breakfast Creek.

Traffic was backed up more than seven kilometres along Coronation Drive from Hale St to Chapel Hill.

The Inner City Bypass has cleared significantly, but delays reach back to Caxton Street, while Coronation Drive remains busy, with delays stretching back onto Moggill Road through Taringa.
