A Brisbane snake catcher has wrangled a meters long python from a car engine west of the city.
Snake Catchers Brisbane & Gold Coast uploaded the shocking footage to their Facebook -page showing a catcher named Jaedon removing the Coastal Carpet Python from under the bonnet of a car in Bardon.
It is believed the owner of the car called the company to remove the reptile on August 10.
The footage shows Jaedon holding the snake by its body in one gloved hand and its head in the other as he manoeuvres the squirming snake.
The length of the python begins to become apparent as Jaedon slowly pulls approximately three feet of it out from the car engine yet to reach the tail end.
The snake catcher then pulls the snake’s head up behind his shoulder and begins walking back until it is fully cleared from the engine and, held up, is longer than Jaedon is tall.
He looks at the camera grinning with the mammoth reptile in hand as its tail swings and wraps around his leg for a moment.
