The only son of Brisbane fashion designer Louise Owen has tragically passed away.
Jackson Taylor Owen died on November 17. He was 23.
His grieving mother took to social media on Thursday to announce the awful news.
“With a huge hole and loss left in my heart, we have to say goodbye to our beautiful son,” Mrs Owen wrote.
“Jackson, you have a huge heart and a love that is so big; your smile and laughter are infectious. You are a true gentleman, so loving, loyal, generous and caring.
“So clever, intelligent and such a talented sportsman, who also had the softest spot for animals.
“You have taught us so much in such a short time … how to always be kind, loving and caring to everyone. How to treat everyone equally and with dignity and respect.
“You have such a gorgeous cool, stylish swagger about you that shows your love for all of the finer things in life.”
Mrs Owen is an artist who branched into fashion design last year, launching her first collection under her label Elaurante.
A regular at A-lister events, she was named one of the most influential women in Brisbane by The Courier-Mail in 2023.
