Bindi Irwin has shared a heartwarming message on social media on Tuesday, commemorating what would have been her father’s 60th birthday.
The famous Crocodile Hunter passed away on September 4, 2006, aged 44, after he was stung by a stingray while filming the ‘Ocean’s Deadliest’ series.
Steve Irwin would have celebrated his 60th birthday on February 22, 2022, in what has also been dubbed ‘Twosday’.
His daughter Bindi took to social media this morning to wish her dad a happy birthday, and tell her 4.8 million followers she will make sure to watch ‘The Crocodile Hunter’ in his memory.
“Happy Birthday to the greatest dad and Wildlife Warrior,” Ms Irwin wrote.
“Today I’ll watch ‘The Crocodile Hunter’ with Grace Warrior and share stories about her incredible Grandpa Crocodile. I love you with all my heart. Your legacy lives on.”
