Australian conservationist Bindi Irwin was supported by her Wildlife Warrior family as she received a prestigious honour for her endometriosis advocacy.

Ms Irwin was presented with the 2024 EndoFound Blossom Award at the 12th Annual Blossom Ball, which was held on Friday, May 3 at Gotham Hall in New York City.

She was joined by her mother Terri and brother Robert in accepting the award at the charity ball, where she was the guest of honour.

The 25-year-old posted on Instagram that she was “grateful beyond description” for the award, relating to her advocacy for endometriosis and women’s health.

“I am grateful beyond description to have been part of this extraordinary evening and to accept the 2024 EndoFound Blossom Award,” she posted on Instagram.

“I am accepting this tremendous honour on behalf of every person that has been affected by endometriosis. For everyone who has spent years feeling dismissed, unseen and undiagnosed.

“I am also accepting this award on behalf of every family member and friend who stands by their loved one battling with endometriosis, desperately searching for answers alongside them.”

Ms Irwin publicly revealed her endometriosis diagnosis in 2023, after spending almost a decade battling the disease behind closed doors.
