Bindi Irwin has shared the adorable names her 1-year-old daughter calls her grandparents in a video posted to social media. SEE THE VIDEO

Steve Irwin will always be in the heart of the little granddaughter he never met and she calls him the cutest name.

Bindi Sue Irwin has shared on social media that her 1-year-old, Grace, calls Steve “Grandpa Crocodile” while grandmother, Terri is referred to as “Bunny”.

Bindi, now 24, got teary as she watched Grace instantly recognise her grandparents in a poster displayed at Australia Zoo in Beerwah on the Sunshine Coast.

Clearly missing her dad, Bindi posted “Tears in my eyes as I share this video. We call my mum and dad Bunny and Grandpa Crocodile with Grace.”

Bindi was only eight and her little brother, Robert, was almost three when their father died while filming wildlife on the Great Barrier Reef in 2006.

The 44-year-old conservationist and his wife, Terri, were already famous for their wildlife documentary television series ‘The Crocodile Hunter’, Steve had been snorkelling in shallow water, capturing footage for a different TV show, when the barb of a stingray’s tail suddenly stabbed him through the heart.

Grace was born on March 25, 2021 to Bindi and her husband, Chandler Powell.
