Motorists heading out of Brisbane for the weekend are experiencing massive delays on the roads.
Traffic heading north on the Bruce Highway is delayed for more than an hour, lanes congested from Brisbane’s northern suburbs to north of Caboolture.
The Gateway Motorway heading north is also congested, as are roads through Morayfield and Caboolture.
There are also delays of more than hour heading south, with motorists held up for more than an hour getting to the Gold Coast.
There is also heavy traffic on the Logan and Ipswich Motorways and on the Centenary Highway in the city’s west.
