Chumpy’s partner Ellidy has shared touching social media photos of 21-month-old Minnie Pullin on a snowboard at Thredbo where her dad used to carve up the slopes before his tragic death aged just 32.

The former world champion and Olympic snowboarder died from a shallow water blackout while free diving near his Gold Coast home in July 2020.

His partner, Ellidy Pullin, gave birth to a daughter, Minnie, in October 2021 after falling pregnant through IVF using Chumpy’s sperm.

Ellidy this week took to Instagram to share adorable pics of her and Minnie on the slopes at Thredbo, where snowboarders and skiers took part in a “Shred for Chumpy” day to mark the third anniversary of his death.

The day was part of an annual commemoration of Chumpy’s life at snowfields around Australia.

The posts show Minnie hitting the slopes in a purple unicorn snowsuit, and even saying “Dadda” in one heartwarming video.

“Doing Dadda proud,” Ellidy wrote below the carousel of pics and videos.

Ellidy told The Courier-Mail earlier last month how she was looking forward to taking Minnie to the alps for the first time.

“It’ll be Minnie’s first time on the slopes and we’re going to chuck her on a snowboard,” she said

“People are saying we should start her off on skis but it’d be wrong to not go straight to snowboarding.”

Ellidy and best mate Chloe Fisher, wife of international DJ Paul “The Fish” Fisher, are behind the mics of popular podcast Darling, Shine! and are also partners in booming Gold Coast seltzer company Hard Fizz.
