Former reality TV star Abbie Chatfield is feuding with one of this year’s most talked-about Married At First Sight (MAFS) grooms, snapping back at him in a series of videos uploaded to social media.
Adrian Araouzou married Awhina Rutene at first sight in season 12 of the hit show, with Tuesday night’s episode revealing Araouzou threatened to leave the experiment unless he was included in a promotional photo shoot for the program.
Outspoken Chatfield, 29, has been talking everything MAFS on her podcast, It’s A Lot, with Monday night’s episode of the podcast centered on Araouzou.
Speaking to Araouzou’s former partner, Geneva, Chatfield was left almost speechless after learning the star allegedly made a fanpage dedicated to himself.
“It’s so good, it’s so good. Give us the rundown,” Chatfield said.
Geneva replied: “I was sending him a little TikTok and on my notifications it comes up with ‘AdrianMAFSFan has viewed the TikTok you shared’ – it’s a fanpage he has created for himself.”
She said the star didn’t deny the allegations when speaking to her, claiming that he created it to get more views on TikTok.
Araouzou uploaded a response video to the allegation made on the podcast, describing Chatfield as his “biggest fan”.
“The only embarrassing thing about that podcast was calling that weekender my ex and to top it all off, I even gave you a repost so you can get some more likes and comments, you are welcome,” he said.
In response, Chatfield uploaded a second video jumping to Geneva’s defence, calling Araouzou’s description of Geneva ‘derogatory’.
“I don’t think you have empathy or the intelligence to comprehend what someone is saying to you when calling you out,” she said.
“... Adrian, listen to me when I say this. We have texts, videos and photos of you two while you were seeing each other.
“She’s not some random woman trying to get clout off you. She’s telling the truth. We discussed the entire timeline in this podcast. Also, Adrian, you’ve got to realise no one would want to be associated with you right now. No one would want that.
“Do you know how little clout you have? Do you know that any woman who would be seen dating you honestly is risking being laughed at by their friendship group?
“I think you’re a little bit delusional. I think you need therapy. Um, and I think you need to learn to listen to women.”
Araouzou has not responded to Chatfield’s video, instead jokingly revealing he left the show to spend time with another 2025 contestant, Tony.
It’s not the first time Chatfield has found herself in the midst of a feud, with run-ins with the owners of Molly the magpie, as well as music star Tones and I.
