4-vehicle crash causes traffic chaos in Brisbane’s south
A multi-vehicle crash south of Brisbane has caused significant delays, while congestion on major arterials continues to build.

Significant delays are building after a multivehicle crash in Brisbane’s south on Tuesday morning.
Reports indicate that at least four vehicles are involved in the incident at the intersection of Forestdale Drive and Johnson Rd in Forestdale, including two trucks.
No serious injuries have been reported, although a male truck driver in his 50s was being treated for lower back pain.
That truck driver and another three people have all been listed in stable conditions.
Two people were taken to Logan Hospital in a stable condition.
Delays of 35 minutes stretched back six kilometres to the Mount Lindesay Highway.
In Brisbane’s CBD, drivers have been urged to plan ahead after Adelaide St was closed between Edward and George streets due to a burst water pipe.
Urban Utilities say that repair works were underway by 6am.
Traffic control is in place.
Elsewhere, there are delays from Darra through to Jindalee on the Centenary Highway and on the Pacific Motorway northbound from Shailer Park to Springwood, both due to peak hour conditions.
