The annual Dagwood Dog eating competition at the Ekka has a new world record, with the reigning champ beating his previous time by more than a minute.

Hundreds of spectators packed the Stockmans Bar at the Ekka on Sunday to witness Dagwood Dog eating history as JWebby Can Eat ate 20 dogs in four minutes and 51 seconds.

James Webb, competitively known as JWebby Can Eat, not only beat his own record from last year’s competition by a whole minute but was so far above the rest of the pack, none of his other competitors could finish 20 Dagwood Dogs.
