QPS investigate stabbing in Townsville suburb
QAS had a busy night in Townsville, as paramedics transported a patient who was allegedly stabbed, as well as treated a snake bite victim and attended to a car crash.

Townsville police are investigating the stabbing of a man that happened in Aitkenvale on Saturday night.
Queensland Ambulance Service reported the male victim had a chest wound and that paramedics transported him to the Townsville University Hospital in a stable condition some time after 11.23pm.
A QPS spokeswoman confirmed the incident and said police were called to a reported “wounding” in Patrick St, that they believe occurred nearby.
Saturday night was busy for Townsville’s QAS paramedics, with three other notable reports overnight including a snake bite, a car rollover, and an e-scooter crash.
A man in his 30s was taken to the Townsville University Hospital in a stable condition following a car rollover at Bluewater on the Bruce Highway at 8.08pm.
The man was treated for head and leg injuries.
In Yabulu another man in his 30s was also taken to hospital in a stable condition after being bitten by a snake at a residence at 6pm.
In Oonoonba a woman in her 20s injured her hand in an e-scooter crash in Ireland Street at 12.47am, and paramedics took her to the hospital.
