POLICE are searching for a group of offenders after Warwick Watchmakers and Jewellers on Palmerin St was broken into overnight.
Warwick Acting Senior Sergeant Shane Reid said the offenders smashed their way into the store around 2am this morning before stealing a quantity of jewellery and leaving.
Acting Snr Sgt Reid said investigations continued, with anyone who saw people acting suspiciously in Palmerin St in the early hours of this morning, urged to contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000 or Warwick police on 4660 4444.
Warwick Watchmakers and Jewellers owner John Walsh said it was "disappointing".
"People don't care and they don't have any respect for others," Mr Walsh said.
"The offenders have smashed five counters and stolen stock.
"I have no idea how much stock they've taken because we haven't had a chance to do a stocktake yet but it looks like they've taken quite a lot."
