Socialite Paris Hilton’s bubbly personality is a perfect match for a Glitter Strip-based alcoholic seltzer company.
In fact, she loves Hard Fizz so much she has given the company a huge plug in one of her viral videos - with 20 million pairs of eyeballs seeing it.
The heiress to the Hilton hotel fortune is at Coachella Music Festival in California, and posted the video from her hotel room.
In the clip, Hilton is seen chatting to a life-size cutout of DJ and Hard Fizz co-founder Paul Fisher.
Hilton then asks the cutout: “are you ready to lose it? Let’s go” - in reference to Fisher’s Grammy nominated song, Losing It.
It is understood Hilton is a personal friend of Fisher.
Hard Fizz buzz generator Joel Scott said it was “incredible exposure for the brand, which is still just a Gold Coast startup.”
“For Paris Hilton to share our brand, and have a bit of a laugh with us - is a big deal. It’s the kind of plug that can blow a company up,” he said.
While the company hasn’t launched in the US yet, airline passengers can bring small amounts of alcohol into the country as luggage.
As a gesture, Hard Fizz flew a representative to California on short notice, so Fisher could deliver product to Ms Hilton.
“We constantly have friends and family asking for some free Fizz but that doesn’t usually
involve sending someone overseas to give it to them,” Mr Scott said.
“I guess in Paris’ case, we were willing to make an exception.”
Hard Fizz was founded on the Gold Coast in 2020 by Gold Coast celebrities Paul and Chloe
Fisher, fellow DJ Brooke Evers, hospitality heavyweights Billy and Jackie Cross and Mad
Hueys founder, Joel Scott.
The brand opened its own brewery at Burleigh Heads in 2021 called Fizz HQ to much fanfare.
