Pamela Anderson has cut off her golden locks, showing off a new look in the first photographs of the Hollywood star shooting a new movie in Australia.
The former Baywatch actor is filming Place To Be, a movie based out of Disney Studios Australia in Moore Park.
Production this week though is based south of Sydney in Wollongong with Anderson snapped by Confidential shooting scenes with Australian actor Murray Bartlett, of The White Lotus fame.
Ellen Burstyn, 92, and Taika Waititi were also seen on set of the movie late on Tuesday night.
Directed by five-time Cannes laureate, Kornel Mundruczo, Place To Be will tell the story of an unlikely bond between an elderly woman and a middle-aged man as they embark on a journey from Chicago to New York to return a lost racing pigeon to its home.
Anderson, 57, will play Molly, the daughter of Burstyn’s character, Brooke.
Waititi is Brooke’s unexpected friend while Bartlett is her son, Ron.
Place To Be, an original screenplay written by Kata Weber, will also star Maika Monroe and Lena Waithe.
Anderson flew in to Sydney this time last week and was spotted at Disney Studios having her blonde locks cut for the role.
She has over the past year been having a career renaissance, receiving critical acclaim for her recent film, The Last Showgirl, for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe, SAG and Gotham Awards.
She will also be seen on the big screen next to Liam Neeson in the much hyped remake of Naked Gun.
Meanwhile Waititi, who is in front of the camera rather than behind it this time, has been spotted filming at Central Station.
Waititi’s wife, actor and singer Rita Ora, has just wrapped production on the live-action sci-fi film Voltron alongside Henry Cavill and Sterling K. Brown on the Gold Coast.
