What you said about poll results for Anthony Albanese as Australian Prime Minister
Anthony Albanese’s popularity continues to plummet and now Aussies are having their say on the PM. HAVE YOUR SAY

Readers are divided over what should happen next after it was revealed in December most Australians say Anthony Albanese’s government has the wrong priorities and they’re poorer or no better off than when he was elected.
That pain was doubled down a week later when a Newspoll showed Mr Albanese was regarded as the weakest PM in decades.
In a blow after weeks of headlines about Qantas upgrades and his $4.3 million beach house, for the first time a majority of Australians now thought Peter Dutton is ready to lead the country.
The Redbridge poll of public opinion also found almost half of all voters think the country is headed in the wrong direction, compared to less than a third who think it is on the right track.
The worrying picture of voter sentiment after two and a half years of Albo-time shows the people most alienated from the government are not bosses but Labor’s traditional blue collar base – the same types of people who earlier this month fled the Democrats for Donald Trump.
The Redbridge poll found that overall only 6 per cent of Australians strongly agree the Albanese government is focused on the right priorities while 25 per cent strongly disagree.
News of the results – which can be seen in full here – sparked debate among readers.
Some claimed the Albanese government was doomed to fail because it was too “woke”.
Others, though, insisted he remained the best option to lead the nation.

WHAT YOU SAID
It’s the voters’ fault
Julie Ann
Never underestimate the stupidity of the average voter. It’s how we get these dreadful Labor governments in the first place
Frank
Who’s the 50% who are still backing Labor? I haven’t met one who supports them.
Mathew
Albo only got in because of prefernces at the last election.
Gary R
Albo is another Labor PM dud who has caused untold damage to this country and people.
I knew it
Stewart’s
shock new poll, I’ve been expecting this from the day he took office.
John
President Clinton said “It's the economy stupid”. Albo has never understood that and has spent too much of his mandate on pet projects that no one cares about.
Uncancelable
People have had enough of the costly woke agenda that adds no value to society & seek a return to governance for the majority. No surprise!
Richard
Going, going, gone. Wet lettuce leaf leadership. Appeasing the Muslim vote.
Labor’s a joke
Bee
The Albanese Labor government has willingly traded Australia’s wealth and prosperity for nothing more than their expensive woke ideology. There is no doubt if Albanese and his Labor government were given another term things would be far worse than the damage they have already created.
JimC
Yes. His priorities are wrong and he is far too woke trying to please the minorities.
Roll into the mix Mr Chris Bowen- well this mob must go.
Bronwyn
Get rid of this rotten woke government who is so out of touch with the people. Bring on Dutton as quick as we can
Sarah
Albanese didn’t last one term, the drums are beating for him
Still the best option
Robert
Dutton? Please no.
rick
The workers want to vote for Dutton whose promises to slash IR laws, slash penalties and all other IR legislation that helps them. Just like Americans who live in trailer parks in abject poverty and think Trump cares about them. The world has gone mad

A poll of 1,500 people. Wow, how definitive is that? Since this government came into power they have done many good things that have been glossed over by the media, opposed by the LNP.
Phil
There is a lot of understandable anger in the majority of comments on this post. The Labor government needs to take a good look at this. I personally believe that the Albanese government has done a lot of positive things for this country
