It is impossible to exaggerate what a woke icon Kamala Harris would have become had she won the US election. Make no mistake — Trump’s win marks a win for all friends of freedom.

Kamala Harris’ defeat is also a defeat of the horrendous woke army that’s run riot in the West for years.
It is impossible to exaggerate what a woke icon Harris would have become had she won.
For a start, she was the identity politics candidate, campaigning as a black woman for black audiences, and an Indian one for Indians.
She literally bent the knee to the Black Lives Matter movement that torched many cities, and touted for donations for bail money for rioters.
Trump, in contrast, is ruthlessly pragmatic and colourblind. Your performance is everything, race not.
Look at the entrepreneurs he got to help him campaign: Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy. Has Trump ever made a point of Ramaswamy also having Indian descent?
Harris may have rolled herself in a small ball during the campaign, but victory would have freed her to fluff her wokest feathers.
This is the politician who once boasted she got taxpayers to pay for sex changes for prisoners, and wanted the same for illegal immigrants.
This is the vice president who sent a birthday card to Dylan Mulvaney, the struggling actor who became an internet star by announcing he’d become a woman, scoring an invitation to the Biden White House.
Harris is also the global warming warrior who once vowed to ban fracking for gas. Trump, on the other hand, used that to campaign against Harris in the key state of Pennsylvania, the crucial battleground state she’s now lost.
What’s more, he’s promised to rip up the Biden-Harris global warming schemes.
On it goes. Harris was so scared of offending the anti-Israel Left that she refused to make Josh Shapiro her running mate – the very capable Jewish governor of Pennsylvania. She chose instead the clownish Tim Walz, who became a laughing stock by lying about his service record, war experience and even fertility treatments.
Trump will now be the enemy of the woke. He’s promised to ban diversity schemes in the public service, and called for law enforcement to crush the intimidating anti-Israel protests at universities.
He will be sure to resist the growing calls by authoritarian governments — even our own — to restrict free speech on the internet. Musk, owner of X, is likely to serve in his administration, and will make sure of it.
So Trump’s win is also a win for all friends of freedom here, and opponents of the new tribalism that’s divided us for too long.
